DJ's Top 6 Favorite TV Shows Part 2
In my last post, I went through the first half of my top 6 favorite TV shows. In this post, I will be going through my top 3 favorite shows of all time. If i'm being honest, these three shows were hard to place.
Number 3: The Umbrella Academy
The Umbrella Academy is an Action/Fiction show released in February 2019, with a final season expected to arrive in mid 2024. This show follows the lives of seven out of 43 children born on a specific day and time, while their mothers were not pregnant earlier that day. Those seven children were adopted and trained by an eccentric billionaire named Reginald Hargreeves. While one of the seven got himself stuck in the future for 45 years and another died. Somehow someway, together they must find a way to stop an oncoming apocalypse from destroying the world. In seasons 2 and 3, that same apocalypse follows the siblings through time and following more deaths, they are spat out into a new timeline where their powers never existed. I am quite excited to see how this show will come to an end, with so many questions about the last few minutes of season 3. What will happen? I began watching this show shortly after season 2 was released in 2020, and I grew to love every second of it. The reason why I placed this show at 3, is because I perfered the dynamic of the other two shows more than this one. I have no other particular reason so...
Fun Fact: The actor who plays Vanya/Viktor, Elliot Page, is Transgender!
Number 2: Wednesday
Wednesday is a Fantasy/Supernatural show released in November 2022 with a likely second season arriving in late 2024 to early 2025. This show follows the story of Wednesday Addams going to a school full ofoutcasts, called Nevermore. Funny enough, her parents, Gomez and Morticia, went to that same school. Throughout the course of the show, normies are getting murdered by a creature called a Hyde, a massive gremlin looking creature known to be highly dangerous to people and outcasts. Wednesday ends up falling in love with a boy who she had a vision of being a Hyde. With the help of her closest friends at Nevermore, Wednesday succeeds in catching the mastermind and the Hyde in one single fight. Although this show is relatively new, I watched the entire season in one night only and I fell in love with it. Once again, this show was ridiculously hard to place, I just found the next show to be ever so slightly better that this one.
Fun fact: Jenna Ortega, who plays Wednesday, learned to play the cello for this role!
Number 1: Stranger Things
Stranger Things is a Supernatural Horror Thriller released in July 2016 with a final season expected in late 2024 to early 2025. This show follows the lives of four boys who meet a supernatural girl named Eleven who grew up with a father who abused her powers. Her discovery leads to the vanishing of one of the four boys and the rest of the group with the help of Eleven and some other people, they must find Will and close the ulternate dimension for good. In the four seasons that were previously released, the ulternate dimension continues to haunt these children and the town of Hawkins, Indiana. Im really excited for this last season because, Stranger Things fans are hoping to meet the end of this living hell that these kids are living in. I watched the entire show within 3 days and I've been anticipating thsi final season since season 4 volume 2 came out.Fun fact: The actor who plays Will Byers, Noah Schnapp, recently came out as gay!!!!!
And there we have it, in two posts, I've listed my top 6 favorite Tv Shows. I hope you all enjoyed!!
